Ecommerce products - where?

The 5.3.8version of Pulse CMS is showing products on the front end (store page) but when i click the ecommerce button on left hand admin menu it shows a page with no rows just a button to add row which when i click does nothing.

I did some further testing and found it is since 5.3.8 that this occurs, the previous version 5.3.7 works ok for product backend.

Also rss feed isnt working either on my server since the latest version, so for now i have reverted back (and therefore, of course, what was fixed by the latest version is back again).
