Grid layout in blog

Hello,
Just updated a test site to 5.3.7 and am pleased to see that blog is all working properly again. However there is a weird issue with the layout of items that was not present before. ie the blog items are not appearing in a single column.
In the part of the page where posts appear some posts are full width and some are half width so posts are side by side. The issue is not in the page template which just has {{blog}} in it.
What is happening here?

I found the issue. There is a thing in settings:in Blog section
Enable Blog masonry layout
Look out for that as its enabled by default.
Great idea, if thats what you want.
