I have the same problem like someone a year ago. Logout as admin taes me back to to login page, but logout as and editor I stay on the dashboard. When I navigate to another section I get an error message. I have to close the window and open again to get to the login page. This doesn't look good for my client!
Seems the old topic is closed but the problem isn't solved.
