Hello, I wrote about this in a previous post and never got any response. It seems to be quite a big issue and I would like it looked at.
I had a site running 5.1 and used the update button to upload zip file containing latest version.
It uploaded it and overwrote all my content with the default pages.
Anyone else had an issue like this?
Thanks @jdloudon - we ran tests on this in 5.2.1 and it worked on our servers - but we’ve also added in 5.2.2 out today the graceful notifications to Pulsecore updates you suggested.
The update also runs a backup process before proceeding and also lists the files that will be overwritten. Please manually update to the latest and start from there
