Change the password and customize it
Password; demo
password changed, actively working on the website for hours.
i even removed the php in order to see if it changes something
in the backend my sb_nav currently looks like this:
<ul>
<li>Work</li>
<li>Contact</li>
<li>Blog</li>
</ul>
but in the frontend it is still parsed as
<div id="nav">
<ul>
</ul>
</div>
This way it can not help giving me access to see or send the complete file.
Thanks,
Armendi
thank you anyway, will wait for other responses. i think i am going to use pulse4 for the next 2 small projects anyway, sadly im having trouble at many levels with pulse5
to be more specific:
i want that the navigation starts automatically inside layout.php, like in pulse4. the tage is already there
{{navigation_logged_in}}
<header class="header">
<a href="./">
<img class="logo" alt="logo" src="<?php echo $path; ?>/content/media/branding/logo.png">
</a>
{{navigation}}
</header>
but as i said, it stays empty. if use the navigation-tag again in some page it appears, althou the linked URLs look like this
http://imprex-ec.com/<?php echo $path; ?>/contact
the php for the path is plain text
The navigation is not even working on MAMP
it works now!! i had to enter “manage site navigation”, save once even with no changes, and then it showed up. this is clearly a bug, right michael?
In most cases the navigation loads fine on first run (as in the demo) but if this doesn’t work then yes just login > settings > manage site navigation > save. – easy solution
This only needs to be done on first install.
We’ll look at making this more reliable in the next update
hellol michael,
yes, thank you it worked after i saved one time. maybe this should be in the manual as a little troubleshoot?
Having a big problem with submenus. Every time I create a submenu, it shows up differently from everything else in the menu, and hovering over it to create the drop-down then causes the submenu to “jump” over a little bit, and continuing to move the mouse makes it “jump” again and the entire menu ends up shifting over to the left, eventually, and the user feels stupid because they end up “chasing” the menu over to the left, and all of the submenu items are completely inaccessible.
Furthermore, if I try to drag the submenu to reorder the navigation, the submenu simply becomes a regular navigation item and the submenu disappears.
This is very frustrating.
@paultzirides what theme / template are you running?
The sub menu HTML created by Pulse5 is correct but the theme needs to be sub-menu compatible
But this:
Furthermore, if I try to drag the submenu to reorder the navigation, the submenu simply becomes a regular navigation item and the submenu disappears.
W’ll improve in 5.0.2
